By Matanat Nasibova - Trend:

Masalli Brick Factory, a big producer of building materials in Azerbaijan, increased the production of bricks by 10 percent during three months of 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, a source in the factory told Trend.

“The factory increased the production of facing bricks which are used in construction,” the source said. “A new production line of bricks is planned to be launched at the factory in the second half of the year.”

“Currently, the factory produces 500 tons of bricks daily and expects to increase this figure up to 600-650 tons by the end of the year,” the source said.

“In parallel, the factory plans to increase the export potential,” the source said. “The factory exports the bricks to Georgia. The supply volume begins from 1,200 tons. This export figure is also planned to be increased up to 2,000 tons and more.”

The factory operates at full capacity without downtime. The production volumes are mainly based on orders within the country and from abroad.

The Masalli Brick Factory has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1983.
