By Matanat Nasibova - Trend:

Ordubad Murebbesi LLC, a private company operating in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Republic and engaged in the manufacturing jams plans to expand the range of canned products this year, the company’s Director Huseyn Farzaliev told Trend.

According to the director, the company plans to start production of preserves and jams from mulberries and eggplants.

He noted that currently, the company’s production workshop manufactures various types of preserves and jams made of sweet cherries, sour cherries and walnuts.

“Every day, the workshop manufactures 1 ton of the products, which are fully sold in Nakhchivan and Baku,” Farzaliyev said. “The company plans to increase the production of jams by at least 1.5 or 2 times. Its potential allows producing 1.5-2 tons of these types of products per day.”

“Moreover, the company intends to enter its products to foreign markets and to this end negotiates with potential partners in Europe and in Russia.”

“Earlier there were attempts to export the products to Spain, Germany and Russia, where they were sent in small volumes. In the medium term, the company expects to establish supplies to the markets of these countries,” said Farzaliyev.
