Azerbaijan’s Fostanpak company producing plastic and aluminum containers plans to expand the range of products this year, a source in the company told Trend.
“The company intends to increase the production volume by 20-25 percent in the second half of the year,” the source added. “The company’s production capacity has reached 160 tons of products. The company plans to bring the production volumes up to 250-300 tons of products in the future.”
“The company's products are in demand in the domestic market, the sales volumes for the first two months of the year were stable,” the source said. “At the same time, the sales volumes decreased during the quarantine regime amid the threat of the spread of the coronavirus.”
“The company plans to sell the products within the country, as well as export the products abroad in the coming months,” the source said. “The company supplied 170-180 tons of products in 2019. The products were exported to Turkey and Georgia. It is planned to export the products to the Central Asia countries, and the corresponding negotiations are underway.”
Fostanpak also produces medical and cleaning products, stretch films, foil and other disposable products under the "Monopak" brand name.
The company is an Azerbaijani distributor of many foreign manufacturing companies from Germany, Turkey, Denmark, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and China.
