Iran's Khodro Industrial Group is not gaining profit from its new pre-sale process, said Manager at Iran Khodro e-Commerce Company.

Asghar Abolhassani has discussed the rumors about Iran Khodro new pre-sale policy to randomly draw buyers in an interview with Trend.

"The Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade ordered cancellation of registration fee; therefore, no payment will be made by the buyers before the draw," he said.

The official has rejected cyber space claims over automakers profit from their sale plan.

"Even if there is a payment from customers, it will go to banks, not to Iran Khodro's account," he said adding that according to the ministry resolution, no initial fee is for the primary registration.

The price of domestic vehicles has increased recently in auto market, as many seek to invest their money to avoid devaluation of national currency.

Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) has produced 51,455 vehicles from April 20 till May 21 that is more than in the same period last year.

Earlier, Iran's Khodro 's Managing Director Farshad Moghimi told Trend that the auto production is expected to reach 500,000 vehicles before the end of current Iran year (began March 20, 2020) and the production process continues with observation of health protocols due to coronavirus threat.
