Azerbaijani Azexport portal has introduced Online Single Export Application, Manager of the portal Aykhan Gadashov told Trend.

The system is introduced in Azerbaijan for the first time.

The application allows saving time on searching and paying for the required product with a single online application, while providing entrepreneurs with certificates for free virtual trade.

This application enables entrepreneurs to obtain international veterinary and phytosanitary certificates, certificates of the product quality and origin, permission to export endangered species of wild fauna and flora, cultural property and religious literature (on paper and electronic media) and other religious information materials.

“By the decree of President Ilham Aliyev on additional measures to strengthen the position of Azerbaijan as a digital trading hub and expand foreign trade relations, the Digital Trade Hub was created. Through it, entrepreneurs can obtain all the permits required to export the products based on the Single Online Export Application,” he said.

Gadashov noted that within the Digital Trade Hub, services were also provided to fill out an electronic customs declaration and receive the amount of export incentives.

Thanks to the efficient use of the latest technological advances and transport and logistics capabilities, the country is conducting multilateral work to increase the favorable business and investment environment, further improve the country's position in international ratings, increase the export potential, and expand the scope of cross-border trade, including electronic trade, said the portal’s manager.

The Azexport portal (https://azexport.az/index.php?route=common/home) was created by order of the head of state on creating a single database of goods produced in Azerbaijan dated September 21, 2016. The main goods exported during the current period are tobacco, chicken and eggs, hazelnuts, cottonseed oil, wine, pomegranate, onions, cosmetics, medical gauze, furniture, paint, confectionery, milk with fruit additives, mineral water and garlic.

The goal of the portal, which is managed by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, is to provide information on Azerbaijani-made products. It’s an effective resource for their selling in foreign and domestic markets.
