"Around 1,400 inactive industrial units were revived last Iranian year (began March 21,2019), while 46,000 factories and production units have been launched across the country and 23,000 units are currently being built," he said.
"It has been planned that 60 production units in Khuzestan Province will be revived. The inactive production units are mostly having liquidity problem or lack basic materials," Salehinia said.
"The plan is to support units with low production, to improve and reach their real capacity and increase the volume of their production," he added.
"Total of 850 industrial cities are active in the country and 7 percent of them are located in Khuzestan Province that has diversity of production units," Salehinia said.
The official also went on to say that Darkhoveyn industrial district in Khuzestan is ready to attract investments.
