The top import agricultural products by value in January-May 2020 included wheat and meslin; fresh, chilled, or frozen meat and edible poultry offal; cigars, cheroots, cigarillos, and cigarettes; sugar and chemically pure sucrose.

As reported, the import of cigarettes declined by 34 percent. The import of sugar grew dramatically, by 152 percent, while wheat and poultry meat imports maintained relatively small increases, of 1 percent and 8 percent, respectively.
