Azerbaijan’s Ganja Instrument Making Plant to launch export of products

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6

The current production capacity of Ganja Instrument-Making Plant, one of the biggest Azerbaijani machinery enterprises, reaches 50-60 percent during the ongoing quarantine regime amid the coronavirus pandemic, a source in the plant told Trend.

“Presently, the main workshops of the plant are operating,” the source said. “The orders related to the production of traditional types of products, as well as the latest varieties of industrial goods are fulfilled through these workshops.”

“About 1.3 million products were produced at the plant during six months of the year,” the source said.

The plant intends to restore the entire production capacity in the near future to prepare for the export of products abroad till the end of the year.

In 2019, the plant manufactured products worth 14 million manat ($8.2 million), and the production growth was 10-12 percent compared to 2018.

Currently, the plant produces water meters, gas pressure regulators, gas control points, ball valves and other types of industrial products of a wide range.

Ganja Instrument-Making Plant is one of the leading Azerbaijani enterprises in the field of instrument making, engaged in the development and production of measuring instruments and automated control systems.

The plant aims to develop instrument making in Azerbaijan to produce modern, high-quality water meters, gas pressure regulators and other measuring instruments that are in demand in the market in the country and abroad.

The plant is located on the territory covering more than five hectares, and the production area is 6,000 square meters.
