The number of purchases and sales of real estate in Kazakhstan amounted to 120,767 transactions over the period from Jan. to Jun. 2020, which is 16.3 percent less than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
The total number of buy/sell transactions implemented in Kazakhstan in Jun. 2020 amounted to 32,121 which is 86.6 percent more than in May 2020 and 8.7 percent more than during the same month of 2019.
The largest number of transactions was observed in Almaty city where it amounted to 5,213 transactions, which is 1.2 times more than in May 2020 and 17.4 percent less than in Jun. 2019.
Almaty is followed by Nur-Sultan city with 3,409 transactions, which is 63.4 percent more than during May 2020 and 15.6 percent less than in Jun. 2019.
Karaganda region takes the third place (3,265 transactions in Jun. 2020), showing a 45.1-percent increase compared to May 2020 and a 1.1-percent decrease compared to Jun. 2019.
The least number of purchase and sale of housing transactions during June 2020 was observed in Atyrau region (735 transactions, increase by 1.1 times compared to May 2020 and by 25.9 percent compared to Jun. 2019).
