Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters replaces foreign contractors

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters has been helping the government regarding construction projects over the years, and recently it succeeded to replace some foreign companies and contractors, said the Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters Saeed Muhammad, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

Muhammad made the remarks during signing of a construction contract between Khatam al-Anbiya and Golestan provincial government.

"One of the major projects by Khatam al-Anbiya in recent years was the Persian Gulf Star Refinery, the building of which led to self-sufficiency in gas production," said Muhammad.

He went on to add that Khatam al-Anbiya is also busy building subways, railways, and its also doing work in the copper and steel industries.

"Despite economic problems all projects are active and if the government allocates necessary funds, the work would be completed faster," he said.

"Around 5,000 contractors are cooperating with Khatam al-Anbiya," he added.
