Swiss NBC New Business Company AG acquired a 25 percent stake in Fargona Qusht Sut Savdo JSC on July 8, 2020, Trend reports citing the Toshkent Republican Stock Exchange.
Thus, the company increased its share in Uzbek company up to 98 percent of the authorized capital. The volume of transaction made up 1.7 billion soum ($166,574).
Fargona Qusht Sut Savdo JSC is a fruit and vegetable planting and storage company. Together with NBC New Business Company AG, Uzbek company established Asia Fruit Mega LLC to store fruit and vegetable products in Fergana region. Asia Fruit Mega LLC has eight refrigeration chambers with a total capacity of 1,224 tons.
NBC New Business Company AG was established in 2011. It is an industrial and investment holding company, which includes industrial enterprises, food factories, retailers, as well as real estate companies located in Switzerland, Russia and Uzbekistan.
NBC New Business Company AG also co-founded JV Lazzat Karamel LLC in Uzbekistan in 2011, and has 60 percent stake in it. JV Lazzat Karamel LLC produces confectionery products. Its production capacity is up to 3,840 tons of finished products per year.
