The next auction of the State Committee on Property Issues (SCPI) of Azerbaijan will be held on 25 August, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Economy.
The ministry noted that a total of 58 objects will be put up for auction, among which 23 are joint stock companies, 30 objects - small state enterprises, two - non-residential areas, and three - uncompleted objects.
“A 30-45 percent stock of shares in sectoral joint-stock companies in the fields of industry, transport, construction, repair and others has been put up for privatization. State property put up for auction includes trade, services, manufacturing enterprises and non-residential buildings located in various regions of the country,” the ministry said.
Most of the small state-owned enterprises and facilities will be privatized along with the land plots, which have already been separately assessed.
The state property put up for auction is located in Baku and Lankaran cities and Imishli district, as well as in other cities and districts of the country.
