Carpet products were actively sold on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in July 2020, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.
During the first week of trading on the stock exchange of Turkmenistan, carpet products were purchased for the Turkmen manat by entrepreneurs from Russia, the UK, the UAE and Pakistan.
In the second week of July, businessmen from the UAE and Pakistan purchased carpet products for the Turkmen manat on exchange.
The carpet products were also actively sold on the country's exchange during the third week of July, mainly to the domestic market and for the Turkmen manat.
In the last week of July, carpet products were also sold for the Turkmen manat to the country’s domestic market.
The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered transactions for the national currency in the amount of more than 177.4 million Turkmen manat ($50,5 million) in July 2020.
The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
