Some 268 transactions were registered on State Commodity Exchange and Raw Material of Turkmenistan in July, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.
In particular, in the first week of July, 77 transactions were registered on the exchange, during the second week – 73 transactions, the third - 51 transactions, the fourth - 33 transactions, while during the week that began at the end of July and included the beginning of August (from July 27 through August 2), 35 transactions were made.
Transactions were made by both foreign entrepreneurs for export and domestic ones to be sold locally.
During the reporting period, the country has registered transactions both for foreign currency and for Turkmen manat.
Transactions in the total amount of more than $57.8 million were registered on the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan in June.
During the reporting month, the country has registered transactions both in foreign currency and in Turkmen manat. In particular, transactions worth more than $73,369 were made in foreign currency and more than 202.3 million for Turkmen manat ($57.7 million).
The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
