BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11
By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:
Georgian Tskali Margebeli company will export one million bottles of Nabeglavi mineral water in Japan in August 2020, Trend reports citing Georgian media.
During the last few years, Tskali Margebeli has taken efforts to adapt to non-traditional markets (beyond CIS Countries) and currently considers full export diversification in the long-run period. The United States, Japan, Turkey, and Asia are considered the most promising destinations, said the report.
"Exploiting the market of Japan needs great effort and energy. We started collaboration with Japanese partners who import Nabeghavi to Japan and are actively involved in the brand development process. In 2019, the Research Institute of Japan conducted a scientific study, according to which positive effect of Nabeglavi mineral water on human skin was confirmed," noted Margebeli.
The company added that approximately 200,000 bottles were exported in Japan only in July, and 601,248 bottles of Nabeghlavi were exported in 2019.
"We plan to enter pharmacy chains such as Welcia, Koko Kara Fine. The next step is to appear on the shelves of Japanese convenience store Lawson, Family Mart, and 7/11, which will mean that we are fully adapted to Japanese market," the company said.
