Data on terry products sales at Turkmen State Commodity Exchange for July 2020 revealed

Turkmenistan sold terry products on its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange almost every week of July, Trend reports with reference to the exchange’s data.

The first week of July was the only one where terry products were not sold.

During the second week of July Turkmenistan sold terry products to businessmen from Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan in foreign currency.

In the third week of July, terry products were sold to entrepreneurs from Russia, the US, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Turkey in foreign currency.

Also, businessmen from Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan bought terry products from Turkmenistan in the auction held in the last week of July.

As many as 268 transactions were registered on State Commodity Exchange and Raw Material of Turkmenistan in July.

Transactions were made by both foreign entrepreneurs for export and domestic businessmen to be sold locally.

During the reporting period, the country has registered transactions both in foreign currency and in Turkmen manat.

Transactions in the total amount of more than $57.8 million were registered on the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan in June.

During the reporting month, the country has registered transactions both in foreign currency and in Turkmen manat. In particular, transactions worth more than $73,369 were made in foreign currency and more than 202.3 million for Turkmen manat ($57.7 million).

The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
