France's Orleans city may establish economic cooperation with one of Uzbekistan's cities, Trend reports citing Dunyo News Agency.
The initiative was discussed during the online meeting of Uzbek Embassy to France with administration of Orleans city.
The administration of the French city noted that there are opportunities to establish twinning relations between Orleans and one of the cities of Uzbekistan.
"According to French side, the most interesting areas for mutually beneficial cooperation can be areas such as pharmaceuticals, computer science, telecommunications, cosmetics, transport logistics, as well as tire production," the message said.
Furthermore, green energy, environmental protection and water resources management were underlined as promising areas for cooperation.
Following the videoconference, the sides agreed to arrange mutual visits of business delegations as the epidemiological situation stabilizes.
Earlier, administration of Tashkent city, the capital of Uzbekistan, discussed joint cooperation plans with the Nagoya city of Japan.
