The export of wheat flour from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to Turkmenistan increased 2.2 times in 1H2020, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.
In general, 26,178 tons of wheat flour was exported to Turkmenistan from such EAEU countries as Kazakhstan and Russia for a total of $26.2 million, which is 2.7 times more than the amount of wheat flour exports for 1H2019.
Meanwhile, the share of Kazakhstan in the above-mentioned amount of wheat flour exports was $21.7 million, while Russia's share was 4.4 million.
The export of grain flour to Turkmenistan from Russia also increased by 14.3 percent, amounting to 125 tons, for a total of $47,105, which also exceeds last year's amount by 42.8 percent.
Such EAEU countries as Kazakhstan and Russia also exported processed cereals to Turkmenistan in the amount of 5,010 tons, for a total of $1.1 million.
Thus, the share of Kazakhstan in the total export of cereals was over $1 million, and the share of Russia was $70,061.
