Exports from Iran's Bilesuvar Moghan customs increase

TEHRAN, Iran, Aug.28

The governor of Bilesuvar Moghan city announced a 22 percent increase in exports from the customs from the beginning of the current Iranian year (started on March 20, 2020).

"Since the beginning of the Iranian year, 48,000 tons of goods worth $ 47 million have been exported from Bilesuvar International Customs,” the governor of Bilesuvar Moghan city, Hassan Ghobadi said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

Potatoes, cement, glass, vegetables, and various other food products are the main export goods of Ardabil province from the border of Bilesuvar. The exported goods primarily go to Azerbaijan and Georgia, IRNA reported.

Last year, 105,000 tons of goods worth $ 106 million were exported from Bilesuvar Customs.

Bilesuvar is located 165 km north of Ardabil Province in the neighborhood of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
