Volume of loaded, unloaded cargo via Iran’s Abadan port revealed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31

A total of 464 tons of cargo was loaded and unloaded in the Abadan port of the Khuzestan Province (southwestern Iran) in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 22-August 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).

According to the statistics, in the 5th month, 1 ton cargo was loaded at the port for export, and 463 tons were unloaded for import.

“About 79 tons of essential products were unloaded at Abadan port during the reporting period,” the statistics added.

In addition, 62 tons of construction materials and mining materials were loaded and unloaded during the month, the statistics noted.

According to the statistics, 204 tons of leather, clothing, fiber, wood and other similar products, 119 other goods were loaded and unloaded in 5-th month of current Iranian year.

In total, 5.93 million tons of goods were loaded and 4.08 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports in the 5-th month.
