Murghab Production Association of the Union of Consumers' Society of Turkmenistan’s Mary region daily process about 3.5-4 tons of vegetables and fruits, which exceeds the established plan for processing vegetables and fruit, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.
The production shops of the Association manufacture pickles from tomatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, carrots, as well as fruit juices.
Some 520 stores, 11 markets and 82 production halls of the Union of Consumers' Society of Mary region cooperate in Turkmenistan’s Mary region.
The vegetable processing is also carried out in other regions of Turkmenistan.
Earlier the season of harvesting vegetables was opened at the plant located in the AK Bugdai district of Turkmenistan's Akhal region, where up to 8 tons of pickled products are packed daily in glass containers.
Processing of fruits and berries has also been mastered by Ayly Yaz company of Turkmenistan, which plans to release ocompotes, as well as assorted packaged in glass containers.
