Volume of cargo loaded, unloaded at Iran’s Noshahr port revealed

A total of 64,500 tons of cargo was loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 22 - August 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).
According to the statistics, 1,880 tons of goods were loaded and 62,600 tons were unloaded at the port during the reporting month. These figures included exports and imports, respectively.
“Furthermore, about 56,500 tons of essential products and 7,950 tons of leather, clothing, fiber, wood, and other similar goods were loaded and unloaded in the 5th month,” the statistics noted.
In total, 5.93 million tons of goods were loaded and 4.08 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports in the 5th month.
The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports decreased by 19.8 percent during the reporting period compared to the same period last Iranian year.
