Turkmenistan will approve the procedure for providing pastures for rent, as well as the amount and procedure for collecting payments for their use, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
The decree ordering to approve the above-mentioned procedure was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The decree directs the municipal administrations of Turkmenistan’s regions to monitor the completeness and timeliness of payments for the use of pastures.
Also, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, together with the Ministry of Justice, should prepare proposals for making changes and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan within 2 months, which are necessary for the implementation of the new order.
The decree was signed for the purpose of rational use of pastures and regulation of land relations in the context of protecting the rights of their users and farmers.
Previous reports said Turkmenistan’s Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank will allocate a loan to Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the country for the reconstruction of refrigerated barns as well as for creating new ones.
Agriculture in Turkmenistan is developing rapidly. It is one of the most important sectors of the country's economy.
