Uzbek Artel resumes trade relations with Afghanistan

Artel an Uzbek manufacturer of household appliances and electronics has opened an official showroom in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Artel.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the consulate of Uzbekistan, members of the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and representatives of the Balkh region.

To date, active work is underway to strengthen relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. Uzbekistan is actively involved in improving the economic and social situation in Afghanistan. Projects are being implemented in the field of energy, education and economics. In particular, in 2020, trade between the countries increased by more than 20 percent.

Artel also contributes to the improvement of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

The new showroom was opened in cooperation with Babur Samim Co LTD - Artel's partner in Afghanistan. According to the agreement, the entire line of Artel large and small household appliances will be supplied to Afghanistan.

It is planned to increase the trade turnover to $1 million by the end of this year.

Afghanistan has become the 10th country where Artel products are exported. The company continues to actively expand its export zone and in the near future plans to sign a number of partnership agreements with foreign countries.

Artel is a leader in the production of household appliances and electronics in Central Asia. The company started its operation in 2011 with the production of gas stoves.
