Kyrgyzstan 's activity on Turkmenistan's exchange for August

Kyrgyzstan became an active participant in the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in August 2020, Trend reports with reference to the exchange’s data.

In the first week of August, Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn on the Turkmenistan's exchange in foreign currency.

During the second week of August, Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn and denim from Turkmenistan. Also, this week products were purchased for the Turkmen manat. So, Kyrgyzstan bought cotton yarn also for manat.

In foreign currency, Kyrgyzstan bought terry products and cotton yarn on the stock exchange of Turkmenistan during trading in the third week of August.

As for the last week of last month, Kyrgyzstan purchased smooth-colored and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric and yarn on the Turkmenistan's exchange.

Some 152 transactions totaling more than $65.6 million were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan in August.

Transactions were made both in Turkmen manats and foreign currency.

In particular, transactions were made in foreign currency in the amount of $48.6 million, and in the national currency – more than 60 million manats (more than $17 million).
