BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept.22
By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:
Corn oil produced in Georgia will enter the Georgian market in 2021, Trend reports via Georgian media.
The oil produced by Georgian company "Kolkha" will be sold with the name "Karva".
As reported, the company was planning to produce Georgian corn oil in 2016. However, the production of Karva was postponed because of technical matters.
As the director of Kolkha, Giorgi Bukia said, construction works of the factory are already finished.
"The product would already be in the sale if the pandemic would not occur. The equipment is imported from China, which means that Chinese specialists should set it up. Because of coronavirus, the process was hindered," noted Bukia.
The total price of the investment will be $1,5-$2 million. The factory is located in Samegrelo, in particular, Khobi.
