Turkmen company for polypropylene production thread revealed export volumes

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23

By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend:

The Turkmen company for the production of polypropylene yarn, Abrayly Dostlar, exports 45-50 tons of capacity per month, Namik Shyukyurov, co-founder of the company told Trend.

"Currently, we export products to Turkey, Russia, and have a lot of demand from America, Belgium, and Canada."

In general, the company notes that an increase in demand for their products is caused by the production of yarn with a thinner range of only 150-300 denier.

Shukyurov noted that the company started exporting its products to Turkey at the end of last year.

Speaking about the impact of the coronavirus, Shyukurov stressed that the pandemic did not have a negative impact on the volume of deliveries, but due to closed borders, Abrayly Dostlar had to suspend exports for some time.

"During the export shutdown, we continued to manufacture products but sent them to the warehouse. After the removal of restrictions on the borders, we began to sell the products that were prepared in advance, " he added.

"Currently, we produce thread with a density of 150-300 denier, and orders to Turkey for the next 3 months are already closed," Shukyurov said.

The company's representative also noted that negotiations are currently underway with Turkey to raise the price for exports.

In general, the company was established last year and is a modern and actively growing company for the production of polypropylene multifilament yarn in different types, colors, and weave.
