Geostat reveals volume of vegetables exported by Georgia to Azerbaijan

Georgia sold 1,122 tons of potatoes to Azerbaijan in the first eight months of 2020, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
In terms of value, the export of fresh or frozen potatoes to Azerbaijan under the "0701" trademark amounted to $195,800.
The export of vegetables was carried out in January, February, March, June and July of this year by road.
During the same period, 40 tons of tomatoes worth $15,300 were exported to Azerbaijan under the "0702" trademark. In March, export was carried out entirely by road.
In January, February and March of this year, 12.2 tons of onions and garlic worth $11,800 were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan under the "0703" trademark.
In February, March and April this year,102.5 tons of white cabbage and broccoli were exported in the amount of $14,400, and in June through August - 1.1 tons of lettuce and chicory in the amount of $1,200.
Georgia also exported to Azerbaijan 22.5 tons of carrots, beets and turnips worth $7,200.
