The sales of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) increased by 61 percent during the first 6 months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Managing Director of the NICICO, Ardashir Sad Mohammadi said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
The director noted the company's sales amounted to 100 trillion rials (about $2.38 billion) during the reporting period.
“This is a new record in the sales history of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company,” he added.
Sad Mohammadi stressed the sales of the NICICO amounted to 42.8 trillion rials (about $1.02 billion) in the sixth month (August 22-September 21).
According to the director, this figure shows an increase of 47.5 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
