Uzbek Artel Avesto Electronics will produce vacuum cleaners and electric water heaters in Tajikistan’s Dushanbe, Trend reports with reference to Artel press service.
On September 29, the opening ceremony of the Artel Avesto Electronics joint venture in Tajikistan took place. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other high-ranking officials.
Artel Avesto Electronics manufactures several models of vacuum cleaners and electric water heaters. By 2021, it is planned to move to the second stage and launch the production of TVs and washing machines.
The capacity of the new plant amounts to more than 60,000 units of electric water heaters and 50,000 vacuum cleaners per year. And the production area accounts for 6,000 square meters. The new plant has already created more than 140 jobs for the local population.
“Thanks to the use of high-tech equipment, all production processes are fully automated. In addition, the plant has a multi-stage quality control, and products are carefully checked at each stage of production,” the statement says.
Another great advantage is that now the guarantee for all Artel products is valid in Tajikistan. Residents of the neighboring country, as well as Uzbek consumers, are offered a three-year full warranty. During this time, buyers are eligible for free support for service maintenance, repairs and replacement of necessary spare parts.
According to Artel the new production base of the company makes it possible to supply products to the foreign market with lower costs and greater efficiency, create new jobs, and learn from the experience of foreign colleagues and produce better and more functional products.
