Iran reveals details of exports from Bushehr Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 4

A total of 11.6 million tons of goods worth $2.47 billion were exported from the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), said Hossein Hosseini, Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Bushehr Province, Trend reports citing the organization.

According to Hosseini, the exported goods were mainly petrochemical products, agricultural fertilizers, cement and clinker.

Hosseini added that these goods were mainly exported to China, the UAE, Turkey, Pakistan, Qatar, Brazil, India, Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.

The chairman emphasized in addition, 347,000 tons of goods worth $508 million were imported to Bushehr Province over six months.

"The imported goods were mainly bananas, rice, automobile spare parts, automobile tires, industrial valves, fabric and so on," he said.

Hosseini noted that the goods were imported from China, the UAE, India, the Philippines, Ecuador, Spain, South Korea, Italy, Russia and Germany.
