Iran reveals exports from Markazi Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 5

A total of 766,000 tons of goods worth $405 million were exported from the Markazi Province of Iran during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), said Jafar Asghari Deputy Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Markazi Province, Trend reports citing the organization.

The deputy chairman noted that the exports were mainly petrochemical products, aluminum ingots, fruit juices, chemicals, various glass facades, polystyrene fibers, fittings, light, and heavy polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.

“These products were mainly exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, and the UAE,” he added.

Asghari said that a total of 4,330 orders were registered in the Markazi Province during the reporting period. More than 90 percent of it has been fulfilled and the value of it amounted to 761 million euros.

"The goods from Markazi Province are projected to be exported to mainly Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, India, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries in the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, to March 21, 2021)," he said.
