Main part of Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province’s goods exported to Iraq

About 75 percent of the goods of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran) were exported to Iraq, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), Director General of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Customs Office, Esmail Allahdadi told IRNA, Trend reports.

Allahdadi said that the province's goods were exported to 28 countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and Syria.

The director-general added that the goods of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province were also exported to several European countries, such as Italy, Sweden, and Romania.

“A total of $23 million worth of goods were exported from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province over six months,” he noted.

The director-general stressed that the exported goods were mainly almonds, fish feed, porcelain dishes, agricultural equipment, milk powder, cement, date juice, and rubber containers.
