The number of purchases and sales of real estate in Kazakhstan amounted to 212,986 transactions over the period from January to September 2020, which is 9.5 percent less than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
The total number of buy/sell transactions implemented in Kazakhstan in Sept. 2020 amounted to 35,359 transactions which are 17.2 percent more than in Aug. 2020 and 20.8 percent more than during the same month of 2019.
The largest number of transactions was observed in Almaty city where it amounted to 5,850 transactions, which is 31.8 percent more than in Aug. 2020 and 36.1 percent more than in Sept. 2019.
Almaty is followed by Nur-Sultan city with 4,780 transactions, which is 32 percent more than during Aug. 2020 and 36.1 percent more than in Sept. 2019.
Karaganda region takes the third place (3,567 transactions in Sept. 2020), showing a 10.2-percent increase compared to Aug. 2020 and a 15.7-percent increase compared to Sept. 2019.
The least number of purchases and sale of housing transactions during Sept. 2020 was observed in the Kyzylorda region (841 transactions, drop by 2.2 percent compared to Aug. 2020 and by 15.8 percent compared to Sept. 2019).
