The pickup manufacturing in Iran increased by 39.4 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - September 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to the statistics, 39,500 pickups were manufactured during the reporting period.
“Furthermore, the manufacturing of buses, minibusses, and vans decreased by 10.3 percent over 6 months compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, the manufacturing amounted to 819 units,” the statistics said.
During this period, 414,000 passenger cars were manufactured, which is an increase of 19 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year, the statistics added.
According to the statistics, at the same time, 267 combines were manufactured in Iran within 6 months, which is an increase of 41.3 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“Also, 9,150 tractors were manufactured in six months. The tractor manufacturing increased 1 percent compared to the same months last Iranian year,” the statistics noted.
