EU4Youth launches new project in Georgia

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26

By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

The EU4Youth ‘Social Entrepreneurship in Armenia and Georgia’ (SEAG) project is launching a grant competition for the development of youth social enterprises, Trend reports via the EU Neighbors East

The grants will be provided to at least 12 legally registered organizations operating as a social enterprise or willing to work in the field of social entrepreneurship in the Kakheti, Kvemo Kartli, and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions of Georgia.

The application forms are available on the websites of the project’s implementing partners in Georgia – Mercy Corps Georgia and the Association of Business Consulting Organisations of Georgia (ABCO), as well as on ABCO’s Facebook page.

The deadline for submission of applications is 10 November 2020.

The SEAG initiative fosters youth employment and societal change through the Social Entrepreneurship in Georgia. The project supports the development of the entrepreneurial potential of young people (ages 18-29) from Georgia in the field of social entrepreneurship, notably with a view to contributing to social cohesion, employment, inclusion, and reduction of inequalities. The project is funded by the European Union under its EU4Youth Program.
