Georgian vegetable oil company Qarva expanding its business

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 29

Georgian vegetableoil company Qarva will be buying around 10,000 tons of cereals from farmers a year, Trend reports via Georgian media.

The concentrate feed enterprise will manufacture products for cattle, poultry, fish, and snails of only Georgian raw materials.

Located in Khobi, Samegrelo Region, the plant will supply products to the domestic market in 2020-2021 and launch exports in 2022.

As the company director Giorgi Tabagari tsaid, the company’s advantage is that its products ensure the natural growth of poultry and cattle.

“We also plan to export our products to Azerbaijan”, Tabagari said.

The project’s total investment value is 8 million lari ($2.4 million). The company will employ 50 people.
