Uzbekistan and Malaysia discussed the supply of high-quality Uzbek textile and agricultural products to Malaysia, Trend reports referring to Dunyo information agency.
The issue was discussed by diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the director of Alpha Indera Malaysian Company Mohd Shukri during the negotiations on the prospects for establishing trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
The Malaysian side was informed about the investment, export and transport, and communication potential of Uzbekistan, as well as the ongoing economic reforms aimed at improving the business environment in the country, including within the framework of free economic zones.

In addition, the director of the Alpha Indera expressed interest in establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with Uzbek exporting enterprises to organize the export of high-quality products of the textile and agricultural industries to Malaysia.
He said that the imported products will be sold through the networks of large wholesale and retail trade networks in Malaysia, with which close cooperation has been established.
Pasties agreed to organize a visit of the company's representatives to Uzbekistan in December to conduct negotiations with domestic exporting enterprises of agricultural and textile products, as well as familiarize themselves with their activities in order to study the possibility of concluding contracts for the export of their products to Malaysia.
Founded in 1990, Alpha Indera co-finances promising investment projects in the industrial and construction sectors. The company also cooperates with Lazada and Shopee largest electronic trading platforms to organize sales of garments and agricultural products in the countries of Southeast Asia.
