Turkmenistan will plant 15 million additional seedlings of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes on the territory of regions and of the capital - Ashgabat, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
The relevant decree was signed by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In particular, the decree prescribes to plant 7,500 million seedlings to ministries and industry departments, the municipal administration of Ashgabat city, and 7,500 million to municipal administrations of regions.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, together with the municipal administrations of the regions and of Ashgabat city, is instructed to determine the planting sites for deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees, and grapes.
Earlier, according to presidential decree No. 1617 of January 31, 2020, it was ordered to plant 10 million seedlings of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees, and grapes.
