The trade turnover between Ukraine and Georgia for 7 months of 2020 amounted to $264 million, which is 18.1 percent less than the volume of trade for the corresponding period last year, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine told Trend.
The export volumes of Ukrainian goods to Georgia amounted to $197 million and decreased by 5.9 percent, the volumes of imports decreased by 40.6 percent and amounted to $671,000.
The balance for this period is positive for Ukraine and amounts to $130 million.
"The need to apply quarantine in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic is still negatively affecting business and economic activity between the countries of the world, in particular Ukraine and Georgia, as evidenced by current statistics," the ministry said.
