Number of restored enterprises in Iran disclosed

The activities of 819 industrial enterprises have been restored since the beginning of the current Iranian year March 20, 2020), Deputy Head of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), Asghar Mosaheb said, Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.

Mosaheb emphasized 14,500 people were employed with the launch of these enterprises.

Mosaheb added that there are about 46,000 small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in Iran's industrial parks. About 9,800 of them are inactive.

“It is planned to restore 1,500 industrial enterprises’ activities in the first stage in the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, to March 21, 2021). However, according to the new plan, the activities of 2,000 enterprises will be restored,” he said.

The deputy director noted the activities of 84 enterprises were restored in Tehran Province, 62 in Mazandaran Province, and 61 in each of Isfahan and Qom provinces of Iran.

According to him, a total of 26.8 trillion rials (about $63.7 million) were invested in the restored enterprises.
