A trial batch of Georgian face masks was sent to Croatia, Trend reports via Georgian media.
As Soso Megrelidze, the founder of New Technology Impex LLC, created with the support of TBC Bank, said, negotiations are underway with Germany and Ukraine about the export of face masks produced in Georgia as well.
"The first test batch has already been sent to Croatia. It has gone through customs procedures, and we are waiting for the final permit to be placed on the market in Croatia without any complications. In the first stage, we sent 2,000 pieces of masks for testing, and later we increased the volume," Megrelidze said.
New Technology Impex LLC, a masks manufacturer, was established in May of this year. The total investment of the project was 1.8 million lari ($542,032).
