Uzbekistan, Afghanistan buy aviation kerosene on Turkmen exchange

Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Malta, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene, gasoline, low-sulfur fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries during the trading on the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange last week, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.

In addition, gasoline has become the subject of transactions of entrepreneurs from Afghanistan in foreign currency.

Also, entrepreneurs from Russia, the UAE, and Turkey bought high-density polyethylene in foreign currency.

In addition, representatives of Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan purchased colorless flat glass, smooth-colored and jacquard terry products, and cotton yarn in foreign currency.

The total amount of transactions on the exchange in foreign currency exceeded $22.2 million.

Transactions in Turkmen manat were also made on the exchange. So, entrepreneurs from the UAE, Scotland, Turkey, and Pakistan purchased cotton yarn and handmade carpet.

The total amount of transactions for the Turkmen manat was more than 22.1 million Turkmen manat ($6.3 million).

In total, 49 transactions were registered on the exchange last week.

The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
