TEHRAN, Iran, Nov.27
Trend:
Production units in Iranian cities do not work in full capacity, said Vice President of Industrial commission in Iran Chamber of Commerce Nima Basiri Tehrani, Trend reports via ILNA.
"Production units were not active enough due to insufficient working capital that would no longer supply their needs, the capital should be tripled," Tehrani said.
"Industries that produce sanitary products could continue working but others faced the damages, and their working capital dropped to 33 percent, and this certainly doesn't lead to growth," he said.
"With regards to the current situation, the banks are following the contraction policy, while the government states that banks should reduce their interest rate," he noted.
"About 80 percent of the country's investments belong to semi-public sectors. The government should take action regarding production units and manufacturing enterprises," he said.
"The government has not eliminated value added tax payment for industrial cities and it even increased tax prices and production units could only use the capacity to postponing the tax payment for two months," he said.
