More and more private enterprises in Turkmenistan manufacture dairy products, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.
The dairy company in Turkmenistan’s Mary region processes 1.6-1.8 tons of milk daily. Milk for production is supplied by local private producers.
In addition, another company operates in the manufacture of milk and dairy products. The company produces more than 40 types of dairy products, such as sour cream, cottage cheese, yogurt, cheese, and others.
Another company also manufactures about 20 types of dairy products in the Dashoguz region, including milk, cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and others.
Other companies are also involved in the manufacture of dairy products in the country.
The sectoral structure of agriculture in Turkmenistan is expanding due to the development of entrepreneurship, which accounts for 83 percent of the country's livestock production. New conditions are being created in the country to activate the farming business in meat and dairy production.
This year, 208 members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan were allocated land plots for the construction of livestock and poultry complexes.
