Turkish Dervisoglu eyes to set up production in Kazakhstan with further export to US

Turkish Dervisoglu Group expressed interest in cooperating with Kazakhstan in organic farming, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture.

The topic was discussed during the meeting between the company’s representatives with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Agriculture Saparkhan Omarov.

The meeting was held as a result of several meetings with representatives of the Turkish business held by the minister in October 2020, during which Omarov in detail talked possible cooperation areas.

Several Turkish companies got interested in the potential of Kazakhstan’s agriculture sector as a result of these meetings. One of them being Dervisoglu Group. The Dervisoglu Group company specializes in growing, processing and then exporting organic products to the US.

In Kazakhstan, the Dervisoglu Group is eyeing cooperation in organic farming and the creation of a production facility for processing and packaging oil and grain crops. The parties agreed to hold more visits to Kazakhstan in order to reach an agreement.

The parties are look to discuss possibilities acquire National Organic Program (NOP) Import Certificate which will allow to export Kazakh-made goods to the US.

Founded in 1984, Dervisoglu is among the historically one of most successful food ingredient supplier in Turkey and is taking firm steps towards becoming a global player.

Dervisoglu has become one of largest producer, processor and exporter in Turkey and has the vision of being a regional leader in the ingredients sector.
