Kazakhstan Development Bank to co-op to promote EAEU integration

Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), VEB.RF, Kazakhstan Development Bank (DBK) and Development Bank of Belarus agreed to jointly develop integration among Eurasian Economic Union countries (EAEU), Trend reports citing EDB.

The parties signed a memorandum on cooperation in order to support the integration process.

Within the framework of the agreements reached, the parties will unite their efforts to develop integration between the EAEU countries through investment activities, as well as to achieve common goals and implement common initiatives in the field of future cooperation of mutual interest.

“The signed memorandum is not only the continuation of successful cooperation with each of the parties, but also a new stage in the relationship between the key financial institutions of our countries, aimed at the development and integration of the EAEU countries,” Chairman of the Management Board of EDB Nikolai Podguzov said.

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is an international financial institution established to promote economic growth in its member states, extend trade and economic ties among them, and support integration in Eurasia through investment.

The Development Bank of Kazakhstan is a financial institution focused on the development of the non-primary sector of the economy. The bank invests in projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the national economy of Kazakhstan.
