The real estate share has made up 6.8 percent in foreign direct investment (FDI) segment in Georgia for 3Q2020, compared to 7.2 percent in the same period of the previous year, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Georgia amounted to $302.6 million in 3Q2020, down by 23.6 percent from the adjusted data of 3Q2019 and up 25.2 percent from the data of 2Q2020.
The three major foreign direct investor countries were: the UK ($117.7 million), the Netherlands ($79.3 million), and the US($24.2 million).
