Various types of fabrics were exported to Turkmenistan from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) from January through September 2020, Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Russia was the only exporter to Turkmenistan of fabrics from synthetic complex threads from the countries of the EAEU in the amount of 5.9 tons, for a total amount of $5,217.
In addition, Russia was the only exporter from the EAEU countries that supplied Turkmenistan with textile materials for technical purposes in the amount of more than 25 tons, totaling $122,676. The data shows an increase in volume by 2.3 times, and in price by 3.3 times.
Statistics also note that during this period, Russia exported 22 kilograms of narrow fabrics to Turkmenistan, totaling $190, which shows an increase in volume by 3.1 times, and in price by 8 percent.
In addition to Russia, Kazakhstan also exported fabrics from the EAEU countries to Turkmenistan.
Thus, Russia and Kazakhstan exported $2,885 tons of nonwovens to Turkmenistan, totaling $5.8 million.
At the same time, the share of Kazakhstan in the export of nonwovens to Turkmenistan was more than $5.5 million, and the share of Russia was $294,940.
From January through August, Russia was the only exporter from the EAEU countries that delivered textile materials for technical purposes to Turkmenistan in the amount of more than 24 tons, totaling $122,657.
During this period, Russia and Kazakhstan exported 2,636 tons of nonwovens to Turkmenistan, totaling $ 5.3 million.
