Romanian companies express interest toward Kazakhstan's market - MFA

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 1

By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

The constant and consistent presence at fairs and exhibitions organized in Kazakhstan and the bilateral forums and economic missions such as side-events are vivid expression of the interest of Romanian companies toward this market, a representative of Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Trend.

The representative said that the offer of high standard Romanian companies has been present at Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition (KIOGE), Kazakhstan Energy Weeks, the International Exhibition of Agriculture and Food Industry, Astana Economic Forum, Astana HUB and so on.

“In this context, it is worth mentioning the centrepiece of the Romanian Pavilion at the International Exhibition “EXPO 2017 Astana. Future energy”, back in 2017 - ELI-NP (Extreme Light Infrastructure – Nuclear Physics). ELI-NP is listed among the most advanced research facility in the world focusing on the study of photonuclear physics and its applications,” the official said.

In his words, this unique experimental combination of ELI-NP will enable tackling a wide range of research topics in fundamental physics, nuclear physics and astrophysics, and applied research in materials science, management of nuclear materials and life sciences.
